Nurse Emily Nightingale is such a good nurse that everyone says she only has to smile at you to make you feel better. In fact, some of the Sylvanians have been known to pretend they are ill, just so they can visit Emily at the hospital! She provides all her patients with TLC (tender loving care) to make sure they are back on their feet in no time.

Paramedic Thomas Nightingale is Sylvania's paramedic and ambulance driver, working alongside his best friend George Honey Bear. Between them, they make sure any injured Sylvanians get to the hospital promptly for treatment. Thomas always tries to pop in to see his wife, Emily, during his lunch breaks at the hospital, sometimes to check if she wants him to buy anything from the Village Store on the way home!
